my
frozen garden winter
in austin texas mexico
quintana roo home
Well
spring is a hectic time for me with work and all. This was a classic Texas spring.
We had a late frost. In the hill country almost all of the peach blossoms froze
as well as the figs and persimmons, and roses. The freeze wasn’t so severe
in Austin but I lost some acacia buds. We also had dry winds blowing all the
buds off, and to top it off we had one of the lowest rain falls on record. Now
this is Texas weather. We also had some of the greatest days i can think of.
Lets look back at some of the flowers we saw. All of the iris (spuria,
germanic,
unussual iris ) pages reflect spring.
