betty ford alpine garden

This was one of my great finds of the summer. It truely is one of the great small botanical gardens i have been to in a while. An alpine collectors paradise. This garden fullfills all the prerequisites for a great garden even though it is quite small and has a miniscule budget. Since i live in Texas alpine gardens are not really viable since we are at around 800 ft sea level and this garden is at 8200 ft. This is why we travel to see something different and to learn how the other side of the world lives and gardens.
